Gonzales Spartan Varsity Football team honored it’s seniors on Oct 19, 2018. It was the last regular season home game for 12 seniors on the team, and they went out with a blast, scoring 3 touchdowns in the first quarter alone. 4 more scores were added in the second quarter and when it was all done, the score was 62 – 7.

JV Spartans had another successful outing on Friday 19th, October 2018. They overwhelmed the visiting Bruins 41 – 7 to improve their record to 6 -2.
The 91st Little Big Game was played On October 12, 2018. The oldest Rivalry in Monterey county was reignited and the town of Gonzales showed up in big numbers to support the undefeated Spartans.

In a sign of what the future holds, JV continued it’s dominance, shutting out King City 27 – 0!
Gonzales High School Football Varsity team invaded MPC to spoil the Marina Mariners homecoming. The Spartans imposed their game plan and ended the night with a 44 – 0 victory over the host team.
