The depth of the Aztecs proved to be too much for the JV Spartans on Friday Night. After several injuries the JV team was forced to reach deep into their reserves in order to finish the game with a loss of 0-29.
In a battle of GHS’s, Gonzales High School Spartans lost to Gilroy High School 55-7. The Spartans suffered a bigger loss in that of their QB going down with knee damage. Get well soon Scooter. The Spartans have 2 weeks to get healthy as they get ready for league play.
JV Spartans lost 39-0 against Gilroy this Friday Sept 9. This is the 3rd game with 0 offensive points. With a bye week coming up, Spartans have 2 weeks to figure out how to get on the board

The Spartan Defense had trouble holding the Horned Toads of Coalinga with a final score of 47-23.
