With 7 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 8 balls batted away and 11 tackles for losses, the Spartan Defense made it’s presence felt on Friday September 7th, 2018. In addition to registering it’s first shut out of the season, the Spartans put up 342 total yards on Offense and 4 touchdowns, establishing a clear cut winner in the battle for the Heritage Trophy.
JV Spartans continue their win streak with a 28 – 14 win over Soledad on Friday night, Sept. 7. Several touchdowns and interception were called back, making the game appear closer than it was. Make no mistake the JV team exerted it’s will on the overwhelmed aztecs.

For the first time in 16 years, the Spartans went into PG and walked away with a victory! With a score of 23 – 34, the game was hard fought and won with blood sweat and tears! The win came at a cost as the Spartan QB went down early and his status is uncertain for the near future.

The JV Spartans team dominated the breakers JV 46 – 6. Attention now turns to Soledad.
The Spartans invaded Morro Bay to start their season on Friday August 24, 2018. The half was close, at 14-7 but the Spartans broke it open in the second half scoring on both sides of the ball multiple times. In the end the Spartans overwhelmed the Pirates, 50-7.
