GHS Spartan Football team took to the field Friday night for the Monterey South County Jamboree. It was a good experience as we highlighted our strengths and learned our weaknesses. Now it’s back to work and ready for the season!

The 2015 Football season has come and gone and the Spartans have plenty to be proud of. The team finished 5-5 and was one win, literally 3 points away from making playoffs.

Gonzales Spartans football team hosted the kc mustangs in the 84th edition of the ‘Little Big Game’. The longest rivalry game in Monterey County provided plenty of excitement as the game was not decided until the final minutes. Through no lack of effort, the Spartans lost 16 – 26.

JV Spartans lost their last game of the season
Gonzales High School Football team took on the Marina Mariners on Friday Nov 6th. This was a close contest, with the outcome decided by 2 points. In the end, the Spartans lost the battle, bringing their season to 5-4.
