Gonzales Spartans defended their home territory vs the winless Soledad Aztecs. The game started out with Soledad dancing on the G while their coaches cheered along and filmed it on their phones. It turns out it was the last time they would hold the heritage trophy that night.

The Saturday game took place on Sept 2 2023. It took place on Saturday due to the shortage of refs preventing the game from being played on Friday Night.

The Varsity GHS Football team travelled to Scotts Valley on Saturday August 26. It was a hot day but both teams played through it with Scotts Valley coming out on top, 34-0. Here are some pics taken by Camilla Ramirez
