The GHS Spartan Varsity Football team squared off vs the Trojans of Alisal on Friday, Sept 30th to kick off their season. The Spartans drew a tough opponent in their first opponent in Alisal. The Trojans are known for their “bring your lunch and get to work” approach to football, and lived up to it.

JV Season kicked off vs a tough as nails opponent in the alisal trojans. The trojans proved too much to handle as they rattled off 35 unanswered points vs the Spartans.

The Gonzales Spartans kicked off the year by hosting the South Conty Jamboree on August 23rd. Soledad, King City, Greenfield, and Gonzales all came out to test their team and iron out any kinks before the games count in the win / loss tally.

Gonzales High School Football filled the Stadium once again on August 17, 2019. GHS Football teams were split into two even teams and composed team Black and team Orange.
