Gonzales Spartan Varsity won their first home game of the season vs the visiting Pacific Grove Breakers. Pacific Grove came out swinging, striking first blood, but in the end the cool nerves of the Spartans survived the crashing wave of Breakers and dried up their shores onto a 34 – 13 win
