Gonzales Spartan Varsity almost beat the Greenfield Bruins on Friday night, Sept 30. The Spartans led most of the way, starting off with a Safety and a Return for a touchdown. To their credit, the Bruins kept it close and fought to the end where they were able to go over the Spartans 31-34.
