For the first time in 16 years, the Spartans went into PG and walked away with a victory! With a score of 23 – 34, the game was hard fought and won with blood sweat and tears! The win came at a cost as the Spartan QB went down early and his status is uncertain for the near future.

The Spartans did not miss a beat though, as sophomore Jayson Flores took on the “Next Man Up” mantra to heart and filled in as QB for the foreseeable future. Spartans now polish their Shields and sharpen their swords as they prepare to invade the Soledad Aztecs next Friday
