Gonzales Spartans secured the first PCAL Santa Lucia Championship with a win over RLS. The Spartans brought their record to 9 – 0, with a 41 – 10 victory at Stevenson school in Pebble Beach.

The first half was a close game for both teams, but the 2nd half belonged to the Spartans as they rattled off 30+ unanswered points. Next week brings a chance to finish 10 – 0, a feat no other Spartan football team has done.
