The Spartan JV team lost an exciting game 14-19 to the Greenfield Bruins on Friday night. It was a tale of two halves for the Spartans who were slow to get started in the first half but turned up the heat in the second. JoJo Valdez had two TD passes, one to Michael Madera and Franky Leon. Standing out for the Spartans on defense included Manny Vargas, Michael Duby, Tony Viorato. Xavier Jimenez had a good day returning kicks on special teams.
